We warmly invite you to an immersive, day-long journey into the transformative gift of Sacred Fire.
Join us for a unique workshop designed to experience the power of fire and deepen your relationship with this ancient wisdom.
Whether you’re simply curious or already walking this path, this day is for those ready to step deeper into meaning, purpose, and connection.
This is more than a workshop; it’s a doorway into deep relationship.
Fire has shaped our lives, our cultures, and our spirits. For thousands of years, it has created a centre for communities to gather around as a common place to share our common humanity.
In this workshop, we will build upon this wisdom and begin to remember Fire not just as an elemental presence, but as a spiritual ally—alive, wise, and capable of igniting change from the inside out for both personal and collective transformation.
Together, we’ll explore Fire as a spiritual centre to return to and share in a living experience of community, warmth, connection and transformation.
Schedule
Saturday August 9th, 10:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Liz O’Leary, Liz is an initiated Firekeeper who loves the simple and yet profound guidance and teachings of Grandfather Fire. With her husband Mark, they host monthly community Fires, and Fires to honour the New Moon, Solstice and Equinox. For over 3 decades, she has enjoyed working with people as a physiotherapist, neuroscience educator, pain management specialist, meditation teacher and Reiki practitioner. Despite living in a city of six million people, Liz is intentional in her support of the “village’ and gift economy and nourishes community in her local area through Firekeeping, growing food, participating in a local food and seed share, hosting a drum circle and drumming at local festivals. She is curious about how she and others negotiate a sense of belonging, as she was born and raised in the elemental West of Ireland and now is held by this ancient continent called Australia. She loves hanging out with Mark, with her young adult sons Kieran and Liam, with Saoirse her delightful Groodle, and with family, friends and community.

Mark Bradford, Mark has been a physiotherapist for over 30 years and has worked in Australia, and North America. Interested in what it is that allows people to change aspects of their life from the physical, psychological and spiritual perspective. For the last 12 years he, with his wife and 2 boys, have been part of a month-long journey, established by Grandfather Fire, to a sacred site in Central Australia. He has been initiated as a Firekeeper for two years, and shares a hearth with his wife Liz at their home in suburban Melbourne. Mark grew up in the country and has a strong affinity with the natural world. Recreating something of the connection that he experienced growing up, by creating a hub for community events at their home, having monthly community fires, and creating a space for his son’s friends to gather around the firepit. He enjoys growing and sharing food, hiking and swimming in Port Phillip Bay which is close to his home.
