“When people want to re-balance themselves with their lives, they seek Nature. That’s because other-than-human-beings—unlike human beings—do only what their being expresses. Nature’s beings never have confusion because they act only out of this nature. Only human beings have a dual nature—a great part of them is a natural being that has the needs of a natural animal. The second part is both the gift—and problem—that is presented by the human mind.
“When people are with other human beings, they can feel each others’ confusion and questioning of ‘who they are’ and ‘why are they here’ and ‘what are they here to do?’ When you’re feeling all that confusion in society, then you walk into Nature—you feel no confusion.
“Even if you don’t know the attributes of the plants, animals, mountains, sky, lakes, streams and wind itself – you feel the peacefulness of a world that knows itself. And that tranquility comes to oneself…Nature is very wise in that way and helps release human confusion and anxieties. And when the confusion goes down, one can feel more clearly their own purpose in life and the work they need to engage in.”
