“In order to be balanced, you need to have a good relationship with the internal movement and cycle of all of the emotions. You cannot just live in a perpetual state of fear or happiness because you are not just a one-energy being. As enjoyable as happiness may be, it is fleeting. Remember, it is part of the other energies that are expressed as anger, fear, sadness and sympathy that are moving through you.
“If you make a judgment that anger is negative, then do you attempt or believe that it is important to remove it? If you judge sadness as negative, then do you imagine that you can focus on something and deny the sadness? In your life, you are going to have loss in the world, and if you don’t have grief or sadness, then the ghost of the old loss will always remain. These ‘energetics,’ let’s call them, have a purpose in a much larger, non-mind perspective.”
